About Lucy and Bennett

Lucy and Bennett were born prematurely at 27 weeks and 6 days, just shy of the third trimester! Starting at 16 weeks, doctors told Amy that Lucy would not have a heartbeat by the next appointment because Lucy was not growing properly. She measured 4 weeks smaller than her twin.  Despite hearing these messages almost on a weekly basis, Lucy had other plans.  Determined to be a rule breaker right from the start, Lucy ensured her survival by breaking her water early.  Lucy and Bennett graced the world with their presence in May of 2021. Amy committed to capturing all the joy and love that Lucy and Bennett bring into this world as true miracle babies.
